Vinyl Art
I love meeting and working with local artists. After attending the first toy show in Brooklyn, I met a vinyl artist named Red Guardian. Each of his pieces have a distinct backstory that’s part of a greater lore. I try to bring the essence of their personality or story to life in a single shot.
My photo’s are used to promote his art on both social media and his online store.
Chunder
Chunder is a sentient skull who yearns for friendship. He hides himself inside a balloon which he hopes will bring him companionship. But the very act of changing who he his makes him sick inside. It was easy to imagine him floating through a lonely alley, caught in the rain.
Knav
Knav is a mischievous monster who loves chasing monarch butterflies. I had a lot of fun bringing this sleepy moment to life after a long day of causing trouble.
Creative Clown
The Creative Clown is that spark of creativity and artistry deep inside of all of us. For this shot I literally imagined him inside of our mind.
